  When Simba opened his eyes again, the burning sun and the vultures were gone, but a tiny meerkat and a huge warthog were standing over him. The meerkat asked Simba if he was okay, and the warthog told him that he had nearly died. They had saved him. Simba thanked them for their help, stood up on weak, wobbly legs, and started to leave.
