The Lion King Storybook Meanwhile, at Pride Rock, Scar was without shame. Sarabi reported that the herds had moved on, and that there was no more food; the only choice would be to leave Pride Rock. Scar shrieked and growled, telling her that they were not going anywhere. He was the king, and he made the rules! Suddenly a tremendous roar echoed among the rocks. Scar whirled around to see a great lion standing before him. Weak and delirious, Scar thought it was the ghost of Mufasa, come back to get him. As Scar screamed at the ghost to go away, Sarabi recognized her son, even though many years had passed.
