The Lion King II: Simba's Pride was a direct-to-video sequel to The Lion King released on October 27, 1998. Lion King fans take different stances on whether they enjoyed it. Some thought it ruined the first movie by "breaking the circle" and others were very happy with it. Nonetheless, it continues the story.
