  Suddenly, the dark shapes of hyenas began to appear at one of the distant borders, and Mufasa had to protect the kingdom. Simba went home and found his Uncle Scar sunning on a rock. Simba told Scar that Mufasa had just showed him the whole kingdom, and that he, Simba, would rule it all some day. Slyly, Scar asked Simba if Mufasa had told him about the elephant graveyard beyond the northern border. It sounded fascinating to a cub with any sense of adventure.
