  The next day, Scar told Simba that Mufasa had a surprise for him down at the bottom of the steep gorge. Simba asked Scar if he would like the surprise. Scar snickered to Simba that the surprise was to die for! Scar then told Simba to wait at the bottom of the gorge; the surprise would be along shortly. Scar slunk back up the canyon wall to watch from above.
